Biography

A performer, educator and lifelong student of the piano.

A love of the piano, from the beginning

Originally from Sicily, Cettina began her musical journey at the age of six, drawn to the enchanting sounds of the piano. In 2007 she achieved her piano diploma with high honours, graduating summa cum laude from the Conservatoire “V. Bellini.”

Cettina has enjoyed success in piano competitions nationally and internationally. Her work has been shaped by guidance from distinguished maestros including M. Marvulli, A. Delle Vigne, P. Gililov, S. Gadjiev, E. Pace, P. Rattalino, R. Risalti, P. N. Masi, B. Canino, G. Luisi and many others.

Her pursuit of knowledge led to the completion of an Interpretation and Composition Piano Master with top honours at the Institute of Superior Music Study “G. B. Pergolesi” in Ancona. In 2012, under the mentorship of Lorenzo Di Bella and study with Sergio Perticaroli and Stefano Fiuzzi, she achieved her Piano Master from the prestigious S. Cecilia Music Academy in Rome.
